Institutional Background
Tuli College has emerged as a significant secular degree institution in the Tuli area, established through the dedicated efforts of the Reongdener Molungdok Society — a social welfare organization registered under the Home Department, Government of Nagaland Registration No. HOME/SRC-6990, dated 3/6/2016. This society comprises socially committed individuals from both rural and urban areas who serve as the founding members of the college.
The Village Council Merangkong, the Merangkong Senso Employees Union (MSEU), and the Merangkong Senso Mongdang are also active members of the Society, represented by office bearers from each of the five units of the Merangkong community.
The founding objective of establishing Tuli College by the Reongdener Molungdok Society was not for profit, but rather to extend educational and social welfare services to the rural population. The Society members voluntarily contribute annually towards the management and sustainability of the College.
A Beacon for Rural Communities
Tuli College stands today as a beacon of higher education, existing not for the benefit of a particular group, but for the upliftment of all rural communities across the districts of Mokokchung, Mon, Longleng, Wokha, and Tuensang in Nagaland.
